Merry Christmas everyone!
I have a question. What kind of tires do you guys use for the snow here in NorCal? I'm planning to head up to the Truckee area for some wheeling, but have to get tires for my recently finished Jeep build. What do you recommend?

I liked my KO2’s in the snow.
I ran KO’s a few tires before these and those really stunk.
Probably any tires that is snow/ice rated will be ok. Unless you go for a full winter tire but I don’t think unless your in winter conditions all the time the cost / Benefit is there

I was thinking about KO2s too. Seems perfect for a daily with some snow runs. A lot of people hate on them, but I don't think they are that bad.

KO2s are nice on our JL as well. The only situation where my MTRs have outperformed @Thunderhead and @bobthetj03 was in snotty mud. The KO2s always shine on the snow runs.

I think I will go for the KO2s. It's gonna be perfect this week, but I have to get the alignment done and the rear track bar installed.

I’m doing Uncle Tom’s Cabin on New Years Day, starting in Georgetown at 8:30 am if anyone is interested.

I am actually going to pull out of this one lol. Was up in truckee on Wednesday and Thursday and got my backside handed to me by the snow. Was about 3-4 foot deep near prossor ohv and that was before this latest storm. Also got some other trips planned i need to save energy for.
